OK so it's been quite some time—over a year to be exact—since I've update or revamped this blog in any way. A lot has happened since last August. We've found what we believe to be our location. The place has been inspected, permits have been signed and we're essentially ready to start tearing down and building back up. However . . . now comes the issue of funds.
Two weeks ago we approached three different banks in our area with our business plan and sales projections. They are currently being looked over and we should hear back from our first bank on Jan. 5th! This is the time when prayers would be much appreciated. Even if these banks turn us down at the moment, there is no doubt in my mind that Sixty-Six Beans will one day open it's doors. To me it's not a matter of if, but when.
Even with that said, of course our hearts are longing for this to happen now. Ideally we would like to be off the ground and brewing by this May 2011.
